LP Science Center was invited to organize a Special Session with the objective of discussing “Cooperation with Africa”, for the Encontro Ciência 2020, which took place on the 3rd and 4th of November, at the Lisbon Congress Center.
In compliance with the necessary health security requirements, public participation was mostly virtual and many of the interventions in the sessions were by videoconference. The meeting was attended by about 6000 people.
The session organized by the LP Science Center brought together a wide range of interventions that conveyed political, institutional, academic and scientific initiatives and perspectives regarding the new dynamics of cooperation with Africa in the context of addressing local challenges in a global context and of comprehensive collaboration at the level International.
