PUBLIC HEALTH INFORMATION responds to the global health demand for more advanced information management tools to support public health decision-making (e.g. H2020 agenda).
We aim to carry out epidemiological surveillance and modelling early warning systems (e.g. dengue), such as that currently being developed with and for Angola; Promote Health information and communication, in policy-making and Healthcare decision-support systems; Promote public health information and education, contributing to health workforce strengthening (HRH) observatories and citizen-science; establish a Public Health Information Laboratory, focusing on health systems in Portuguese-speaking countries (CPLP) and driven by the EU Joint-Action on Health Information.
