Imune.pt is a portuguese language digital information platform on vaccination and immunization , an initiative of the Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (IHMT-NOVA).

“Ciência Viva no Laboratório” is an annual summer internship programme, aiming to promote the experimental teaching of science and foster the attraction of young people to scientific careers.

For more than 15 years, GHTM researchers have hosted students to explore diverse areas of interest. The most recent editions have had opportunities in helmintology, vector-bourne diseases, with particular emphasis in malaria and insect collections of scientific significance.

European Researchers’ Night

Since 2005, the European Researchers’ Night has illuminated the streets of over 300 cities across Europe every last Friday of September.

Funded by the European Commission’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, this initiative demystifies the world of research and brings scientists closer to the public, in a night with hundreds of free activities designed to spark curiosity and foster a love for science.

GHTM & IHTM-NOVA researchers have participated over the years, showcasing the latest developments in our various scientific fields of expertise.
