My main topics of interest are: tuberculosis, malaria, schistosomiases, and cholera, in particular on epidemiology in their various clinical aspects, diagnosis, treatment and prevention. I develop activity still on traveler´s Medicine, pre and post travel advice, and in Humanitarian Medicine, throughthe NGO “Médicos do Mundo” as Director, for about 10 years. In addition to these activities, I participated for several years, in numerous official cooperation missions, in countries of Portuguese language, allowing me a better knowledge of tropical diseases.
