The annual meeting of the scientific and technological community in Portugal, which promotes interaction between researchers, the business sector and the general public, debating the themes of the Portuguese scientific agenda, will have its next edition – Ciência 2021 – on the 28th, 29th and 30th June 2021, at the Lisbon Congress Centre, Praça das Indústrias, Junqueira. Admission is free, but registration is required at https://www.encontrociencia.pt/2021/.

The Biotropical Resources biobank, BIOTROP, at GHTM IHMT NOVA, has the vision to contribute to the role of banks of biological products as a tool at the service of a healthy society and asserting itself as a reference structure for collections of biological products associated with infectious diseases and tropical regions. The main mission is to maximize its biological resources, to promote research of excellence on health sciences, particularly of infectious diseases and tropical medicine.
