In May 2020, the Cascais City Council established a partnership with GHTM to conduct a community-level seroprevalence survey, which included blood serology testing for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies together with socio-demographic and clinical questions. GHTM Sessions 2022 CCID02 » Mozambique’s first medical drone study: evidence on flight safety and quality of COVID-19 and Tuberculosis laboratory samples

  • De: 26/01/2022

The samples’ analysis concluded that their quality had not changed by flight, being comparable to land transport.

There is limited data on the extent of the African SARS-CoV-2 epidemic. According to official records, 0.2% of the population has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. The results indicate that the infection rate in Guinea-Bissau is considerably higher than what public testing data suggests, especially among females.
