Collaborative transnational research and action to promote health for all can be translated as Global Health. The 21st century brought the need for teams to increasingly work on scientific and technological research networks because of the sheer volume of data in this new millennium. New models of work need to be created to accelerate the advancement of science.Therefore, collaborative networking can contribute to the public health area being more effective in finding solutions to the woes of mankind. Thus, the proposal to provide a mechanism to facilitate collaboration and sharing of resources in the global health area between Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries will allow the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the provision of innovative pedagogical means in areas of excellence in Global Health In Portuguese and Spanish. In this way, an opportunity is opened to develop approaches to increase the impact of activities of exchange, sharing and transfer of knowledge among the different actors through web 2.0.
