Starts today the initiative organized under the scope of Project BIOSAFE. For the next 4 days, “Summer School on Antimicrobial Resistance 2022” will provide an update on hot topics of antimicrobial resistance.
Mechanisms of bacterial antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial resistance on a One Health perspective, new methodological approaches to study antimicrobial resistance, and application of NGS strategies to explore bacterial mechanisms of resistance are some topics of the scientific program that will be discussed in this interactive Summer School.
The BIOSAFE team, composed by Isabel Couto, Sofia Santos, Patrícia Abrantes e Carolina Ferreira, will present the main findings regarding the Preventions of Antimicrobial Resistance in the Community – The safe use of biocides.
Supported by FEDER/FCT projects LISBOA-01-0145-FEDER-030713 and PTDC/CAL-EST/30713/2017, the scientific program counts with the presence of national and international experts that, alongside with the THOP-GHTM/BIOSAFE researchers, will share their experience in this field.
