The FAIR RESEARCH PARTNERSHIPS cross-cutting issue promotes capacity building actions for the GHTM community, increasing student and researchers’ awareness of the importance and impact of implementing the principles of equitable and responsible collaborations , as well as analyzing the established partnerships according to the research fairness initiative principles.
Moreover, our work is now focusing on two axes of action:
- Research Fairness Initiative (RFI), updating and validating the indicators of the self-assessment existing tool (including indicators as Artificial Intelligence (AI), engagement with local communities), that institutions can use to check their level of equity in partnerships and collaborations;
- Fair Research Contracting (FRC), supporting partners’ skills to guarantee fairer research contracts.
