Five researchers from GHTM | IHMT NOVA are featured in the 2024 World’s Top 2% Scientists Ranking, compiled by Stanford University and published by Elsevier.
This prestigious list identifies the most highly cited scientists worldwide, representing approximately 2% of researchers across all scientific fields. The ranking is based on data from Scopus, the world’s largest database of scientific references and citations, and developed through the Elsevier Data Repository (ICSR Lab).
Scientists are evaluated across 22 scientific areas and 174 subfields using a composite citation indicator (c-score) that aggregates six key metrics — including total citations, the h-index, and citations for single-author and first- or last-author publications.
