Experience in Chemistry with an emphasis on Organic Synthesis and Medicinal Chemistry with a focus on neglected diseases. Managed and coordinated by Fundação Oswaldo Cruz. Member of the curator council of the Foundation to support research at FIOCRUZ. He also held the position of Deputy Director of Management and Institutional Development of Farmanguinhos and is currently the Director of Farmanguinhos since 2017.
