Already with 7 editions held, between 2016 and 2020, the RDM Forum is bringing together and energising the professionals and researchers’ community involved in activities supporting research data management in order to develop technical skills and capitalise on knowledge and practices.
It is a space of capacity building and debate for sharing ideas, emerging initiatives, projects and good support practices of research data management that seeks to bring together managers of digital repositories and data centres, information technicians, libraries, archives and data curation, computer specialists, researchers, data scientists and science managers from research institutions and science funding bodies.
This 8th GDI Forum, will be at the University of Coimbra, in person, following the model of previous editions, starting at 11 a.m. on 25 November and finishing at 4:30 p.m. on 26 November. The program comprehends two workshops, a flash talks’ session with a moment to the demonstration and presentations of projects and best practices, and a panel of discussion of emerging topics, resulting from the evaluation of the previous forum’s satisfaction survey.
