Erasmus+: IHMT-NOVA welcomes two researchers from the University of Cape Verde

June 5, 2023

Ciclo de Documentários sobre Cabo Verde

IHMT-NOVA welcomes two researchers from the University of Cape Verde. Between 5th and 9th of June, IHMT-NOVA welcomes Celeste Fortes and Francisca Monteiro, two researchers from the University of Cape Verde, for a visit within the scope of Erasmus+ program.

During this week, the researchers will visit the IHMT facilities and meet the members of the Global Public Health, one of the IHMT’s Teaching and Research Units.

Among the activities planned in this exchange is the GHTM Session under the theme “Dinâmicas familiares em Cabo Verde”, schedule for the 6th of June. Celeste Fortes e Francisca Monteiro will also meet with the GHTM Coordinator, professor Miguel Viveiros, to learn more about the research developed in our Research Centre, seeking common research interest for partnership.

We also highlighted the exhibition of two documentaries that address the daily life of the archipelago, followed by a debate around the narratives they carry from a global health perspective.

These short films will be projected on the 7th and 9th of June, at 9.30am. Admission is free and open to all interested, however registration is mandatory.
