On September 17, the THOP-GHTM members Ana Abecasis, Marta Pingarilho and Victor Pimentel participated in the first meeting of the APECS working groups, which took place in Leiria.
At this meeting, GHTM researchers created a new working group called “Resistance to Antiretrovirals of HIV-positive Individuals”, whose objective is “to study, analyse and monitor drug resistance used for the treatment of HIV-infected patients in Portugal. Priority objectives to be developed in the coming months have been defined, including research topics that are in line with the GHTM strategy”, they mentioned.
