Plagiarism in higher education: perceptions and attitudes. A case study

She has a degree in Sociology and a PhD in Education. She is an assistant professor at ISCTE-IUL, in the Department of Social Research Methods of the School of Sociology and Public Policy, where she teaches Statistics and Data Analysis disciplines. Since 2014 he has been the President of the Pedagogical Council of ISCTE-IUL where he started a project about the perceptions and attitudes of students and teachers of higher education about academic plagiarism. He is part of the research group of the Center for Research and Sociology Studies (CIES-IUL). He has participated in several national projects in the area of sociology of education and family sociology. He is part of the Board of the Portuguese Association of Sociology, where he coordinated the 1st national survey on the professional practices of graduates in sociology in Portugal. She is currently involved in a project on the fecundity of foreign women residing in Portugal.
