Pedro Príncipe | Universidade do Minho

Head of Division in the Documentation Services of the Universidade do Minho (SDUM). Information Specialist and project manager Open Access, with responsibility for the execution of the OpenAIRE project – Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe, having collaborations in several other European and national projects (FOSTER, MedOAnet, Necobelac, RCAAP).

Graduated in New Technologies of Communication of the Universidade de Aveiro and with frequency of the post-graduation in Sciences of the Information and Documentation in the University Fernando Pessoa. From 2000 to 2010 he collaborated at the Universidade de  Aveiro, first as a Library and Documentation Technician at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of the Universidade de Aveiro (ISCA-UA), where he also served as the Web Content Manager of the Institute and collaborated in projects and work teams in the Documentation Services of the University, and later integrated the Communication, Image and Public Relations Services of the Universidade de Aveiro as Content Manager of the UA Portal.

It is currently part of the National Open Science Policy Working Group appointed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education. From 2011 to 2016, he was a member of the National Board of Directors of the Portuguese Association of Librarians, Archivists and Documentalists (BAD), where he currently coordinates the Higher Education Libraries Working Group and is a trainer in Information and Communication Technologies.
