Carla Maia, Assistant Researcher and member of VBD-GHTM Research Group, was invited to participate as a keynote speaker at the Joint European Congress of Veterinary Pathology and Veterinary Clinical Pathology 2023, which occurred in Lisbon between 30th August and 2nd September.
“Sand fly borne-diseases in Europe – epidemiological overview and potential triggers for their emergence and re-emergence”, the theme of Carla Maia’s lecture, was selected to receive the annual award from the Journal of Comparative Pathology Educational Trust, aimed to promote the discipline of veterinary pathology internationally.
“I am very honoured that my keynote lecturer was chosen to be awarded by the Journal of Comparative Pathology Education Trust”, mentioned Carla Maia about this acknowledgment.
