Regina Amado

Regina Amado studied medicine at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. She specialized in gynecology and obstetrics, and general and family medicine. She worked in women’s health care in public hospitals in Brazil, especially in high-risk pregnancy in the emergency department of gynecology and obstetrics, along with interns.
She holds a Master in Public Heath from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, at University Nova of Lisbon. Now she is studying for her PhD in International Health at the same institution.
