This prestigious event will bring together experts from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in tick and tick-borne pathogen research.
Coordinated by Ana Domingos and Sandra Antunes from the VBD-GHTM Research Group, the congress will provide an international forum for researchers and professionals from a wide range of disciplines, including tick biology and ecology, pathogen transmission, surveillance, diagnostics, and the prevention and control of tick-borne diseases.
The TTP12 programme will address emerging challenges in the field while highlighting recent advances in our understanding of tick–pathogen–host interactions, as well as the development of effective strategies for preventing and controlling tick-borne diseases in humans and animals.
By hosting TTP12, IHMT NOVA will reinforce its role as an international meeting point for scientific exchange and collaboration in the fields of global health, vector-borne diseases, and One Health, while showcasing the expertise and research developed within the GHTM community.
