PhD candidate in Global Public Health (Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine). Master’s degree in Public Health from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil (2015), specializing in Epidemiology, research group: Working Conditions and Health; Postgraduate/Specialist in Epidemiology and Health Surveillance from Unyleya College, Brazil (2022); Senior Occupational Safety Technician, Alamedas Office, Portugal (2023) and Graduate in Human Resources Management and Inspection from the Pedagogica University, Mozambique (2011).

She has a complementary course in Higher Education Teaching from GIZ UFMG PROGRAD (Higher Education Teaching Practices Development Network) – Belo Horizonte (Brazil); Modular training in Environment, Safety, Hygiene, and Health at Work, and Occupational Safety and Health Management System – ISO 45001. She is an associate member of the Portuguese Association for the Promotion of Public Health (APPSP); She is a member of the Portuguese Safety Association (APSEI) and The European Public Health Association (EUPHA).

She worked as a lecturer in Nursing Administration and Management I and II at the Higher Institute of Science and Health (ISCISA), Maputo (Mozambique); Lecturer in Occupational Health, Hygiene, and Safety at the Center for Professional Skills Development (CEDECOP) of the Pedagogica University Foundation, Maputo (Mozambique). She was Administrator of the Rizwan Adatia Foundation Training Center (Mozambique) and Assistant Human Resources Manager at the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Tete (ISPT), Tete (Mozambique).
