On 27 November, the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) opened its annual Calls for R&D Projects in All Scientific Domains. These calls aim to support two main types of projects:

Scientific research and technological development projects that address original and relevant scientific questions, follow international standards, and generate significant scientific outputs.

Exploratory research projects focused on scientific or technological research that explores ideas or concepts considered to be original and/or innovative.
As part of this initiative, GHTM will host a session dedicated to reviewing the results of previous GHTM funding applications and preparing for the upcoming FCT call.
Submission period: 27 November 2025 – 11 March 2026
