January 16, 2026

The Open Access publication quotas for 2026 under the b-on transformative agreements are now available. The conditions negotiated under the transformative agreements in force for the 2025–2027 period can be consulted below.

These agreements aim to support open access publishing by authors affiliated with B-on member institutions, in accordance with the eligibility criteria and conditions defined for each publisher.

Eligibility criteria

Authors are eligible to publish in Open Access under the b-on transformative agreements if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Affiliation with a b-on member institution at the time the article is accepted for publication.
  • The affiliated institution must have access to the publisher’s content.
  • The article is accepted for publication during the term of the agreement.
  • Availability of the annual quota, when applicable.
  • The journal must be included in the agreement.

What should authors do?

To benefit from open access publishing under the b-on agreements, authors should:

  • Submit the article using their institutional email address.
  • clearly identify their institutional affiliation during submission;
  • Upon notification of article acceptance, select the Open Access publishing option under the b-on transformative agreement, as presented clearly by the publisher during the author journey.
